I got to sign four copies of my book for Tye's girlfriend’s family. (With Tanner) all-but breathing down my neck the entire time, trying to see what I wrote...) Tye said his girlfriend's grandma really wanted to meet me, and Dad joked that I should charge an appearance fee. Tye joined in the fun and said I should tell her, "Take me out to Perkins, and we'll discuss the possibility of a second book." Once we were leaving, I apologized for writing the same thing in each book, but told him that's what I did with people I don't know personally. Tye says, "Well, my girlfriend's grandma plans on knowing you personally, at some point, just so you know." So funny.
