Behind the Poem: INTERNAL DIALOGUE SHIFT

The poem, INTERNAL DIALOGUE SHIFT, (Beauty for Ashes, pg 63) was written on April 5, 2007. I believe this was written around the time I was contemplating leaving my former church. I was thinking a lot about growing as a person and gaining perspective.
