Behind the Poem: HIDING OUT

The poem, HIDING OUT, (Beauty for Ashes, pg 53) was written on December 5, 2005. This one was written just after I finished my second novel for National Novel Writing Month. It explores the idea of expressing my own pain by putting aspects of it into various characters.
