Behind the Poem: CLEARING THE SMOKE

The poem, CLEARING THE SMOKE, (Beauty for Ashes, pg 28) was written on October 31, 2005. This was a time when I apparently had a pretty strong desire for someone to see the truth: that I was not okay. To stop buying the smokescreen.
