Behind the Poem: BAPTISM

The poem, BAPTISM, (Beauty for Ashes, pg 13) was written on August 14, 2002.  At 21, I made the decision to be rebaptized.  This poem was written about a week prior to that happening, and it explores some thoughts on what it meant to me.
