So on Monday after I wrote my last entry, I got stuff in the mail! Lucky me, it was my $1.00 advance, or whatever from the publishing company! It was quite funny. This big old paper saying "Congratulations, your book is being published!" and taped to the bottom there's this dollar. Along with that came all my official promotional stuff - which, ironically, I had looked at earlier that day online. Now I'm just waiting for my page proofs. Then it will be off to the cover department, and then, it'll come right to me! Only 23 more days!

In other news, it's the 4th of July, and I'm wearing yellow.
